Kroupi Snubs PSG for Tottenham in Blockbuster £145m Double Swoop

Tottenham's summer recruitment drive has hit another gear with news that Bournemouth sensation Eli Junior Kroupi has opted for a Spurs move over Champions League holders PSG, as part of a sweeping £145m double attacking investment.
The Lilywhites have already assembled an impressive collection of new faces this window, capturing Martin Dubravka, Andy Robertson and Marcos Senesi on free transfers, whilst investing a combined £237m to bring in Jan Paul van Hecke, Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali. With the goalkeeping department, backline and engine room all bolstered, attention has now turned squarely to refreshing the attacking arsenal.
The 20-year-old Kroupi, capable of operating as either a central striker or left winger, enjoyed a scintillating Premier League debut season, netting 13 times despite arriving as a teenager. His performances have attracted considerable interest, with PSG keen to recruit him as a successor to Goncalo Ramos, who departed for AC Milan in a deal valued at an initial €74m.
Yet the French hotshot has signalled his preference for Tottenham, a decision rooted in the prospect of guaranteed first-team football. At PSG, he would face stiff competition from established attacking talents including Ousmane Dembele, whereas Roberto De Zerbi's Spurs project represents an opportunity to lead the line immediately. The Frenchman views the ambitions being constructed in north London as deeply compelling.
Tottenham now plan to formalise their interest with an official bid within the coming weeks, with an offer in the region of £85m anticipated to satisfy Bournemouth's demands. PSG, meanwhile, have moved on, having agreed personal terms with Barcelona's Ferran Torres as an alternative.
Kroupi represents just one half of Spurs' attacking blueprint. The club has also zeroed in on Manchester City winger Savinho as a specialist flank operator, with the Brazilian already identified as the primary target for the wide position. The 22-year-old has been granted clearance to depart the Etihad, and is open to the prospect of joining Tottenham. A fee of £60m is believed sufficient to unlock the transfer.
With Cody Gakpo also on the radar, though Liverpool presently resistant to any departure, Tottenham are demonstrating considerable ambition in the market. The double swoop for Kroupi and Savinho would represent a statement of intent as De Zerbi seeks to establish a formidable attacking threat.
