Arsenal Move for Tzolis as Trossard Heads to Besiktas

The 24-year-old Greek international has already caught the attention of other suitors, yet his camp has made clear where his priorities lie. Tzolis turned down alternative proposals to wait for Arsenal, signalling his keen interest in a switch to north London. With 34 caps for Greece and an impressive recent campaign—22 goals and 29 assists across 52 appearances for Brugge—he fits the profile of a player capable of stepping in immediately.

Arsenal's interest in upgrading the left wing has been evident for some time. The north London outfit have even been willing to offload Gabriel Martinelli as part of their reshaping plans. Trossard's exit now accelerates that process, with the club determined to bring in fresh attacking reinforcement.

Club Brugge and Arsenal have faced each other in European competition recently, and the Belgian side's hierarchy has already engaged in preliminary discussions with the London club.
