Jamie Redknapp has waxed lyrical about David Raya's credentials, suggesting the Arsenal stopper ranks amongst the world's finest shot-stoppers in the game today. The pundit's verdict comes hot on the heels of a commanding display from the Spanish keeper during the Gunners' hard-fought 1-0 triumph at West Ham on Sunday.

Raya's season has been nothing short of sensational. The 30-year-old has amassed an astonishing 27 clean sheets across 49 appearances, proving instrumental as Arsenal pursue both domestic supremacy and Champions League silverware. His excellence has earned him three consecutive Premier League Golden Glove awards, having shared the honour with Matz Sels of Nottingham Forest the previous campaign.

The decisive moment came in the 80th minute when Raya exhibited lightning reflexes to thwart Fernandes, who had found himself bearing down on goal.
