Liverpool's summer strategy has crystallised around one name: Yan Diomande. The RB Leipzig winger has emerged as the Reds' number one priority following Mohamed Salah's imminent departure on a free transfer, and the club's hierarchy are prepared to move swiftly and decisively to secure his signature.

The 19-year-old's breakthrough season in Germany has left Liverpool convinced of his potential. Operating in the Bundesliga, Diomande has delivered 13 goals and nine assists across 35 appearances—a remarkable haul for a teenager in his debut campaign abroad. Such productivity has justified the considerable investment Liverpool are now prepared to commit.
