Another member of Liverpool's senior contingent appears destined for the exit door this summer, with goalkeeper Alisson Becker inching towards an Anfield departure ahead of next season.

The Merseyside club faces yet another significant squad reconstruction following what has proven a deeply frustrating 2025/26 campaign. Mohamed Salah and Andy Robertson have already been confirmed as summer departures, and now the Brazilian stopper looks set to join them in quitting Merseyside.

Juventus have registered their interest in the world-class 'keeper, with recent reports suggesting the Serie A heavyweights are ready to make the transfer happen. Should Alisson depart, Giorgi Mamardashvili would inherit the No.1 shirt, though Liverpool's hierarchy apparently harbour reservations about the relatively inexperienced Georgian and have already begun scouting for an alternative.

According to reporter David Lynch, the momentum behind Alisson's exit stems from the player himself rather than any push from the club's boardroom. Speaking on Anfield Index, Lynch outlined his reasoning for expecting the move to materialise.

"There's considerable activity happening here," Lynch explained, suggesting the transfer looks increasingly inevitable. "The choice genuinely belongs to the player—whether he fancies a fresh challenge elsewhere or prefers to remain."

The journalist went on to clarify Liverpool's position: with Alisson contracted to the club, the Reds will permit his departure provided their valuation is met. "The momentum building on his end signals both a readiness from the club to facilitate his exit and a desire from Alisson himself to make the move," Lynch stated. "I don't anticipate Liverpool will stand in his way."

Defender Joe Gomez has also found himself on the rumour mill regarding a potential summer switch. When quizzed about his future prospects, the 27-year-old remained characteristically evasive.

"Honestly, I haven't got a clue," Gomez admitted. "With only a year remaining on my contract, anything's possible really. Whatever's meant to happen will happen, I suppose."

The defender did take the opportunity to reflect on his lengthy association with the club. "I'm enormously thankful for the opportunity to have spent 11 years here," Gomez continued. "It's been a privilege, and I'm grateful for every bit of it. All I can do now is remain professional and see where things lead."
