Wright Eyes Arsenal Dynasty as Raya Crowned Premier League's Outstanding Performer

Arsenal's long drought is finally over. After 22 years without a Premier League crown, the Gunners got over the line on Tuesday when Manchester City's failure to beat AFC Bournemouth mathematically confirmed their triumph.
Ian Wright, naturally enough, is in high spirits about his club's achievement. Having come agonisingly close in recent seasons, Arsenal have at last secured the title with a game to spare—and they could yet complete the double by winning the Champions League this term.
For Wright, however, this is merely the beginning. He's now setting his sights considerably higher.
"You hope so because obviously the first one is the toughest one to get," Wright told Stan Sport Football when discussing whether Arsenal could enter a period of sustained success. "I know there are players around the world who want to sign for Arsenal so fingers crossed we can go on a Manchester City tear, do two or three [titles].
"I'd love us to win another couple in the next five or six years, absolutely."
The pundit has been effusive in his praise for the squad's contributions to the title win. He highlighted Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka, William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes, David Raya, Eberechi Eze, and Ben White as key performers who deserve their medals for what they've delivered.
Alan Shearer has gone further in identifying the standout individual performers. The former Newcastle striker believes three Arsenal players have been exceptional week in, week out throughout the campaign, particularly during the demanding periods when criticism and poor form had to be weathered.
"I think the three outstanding players for Arsenal have been, from back to front, David Raya, the goalkeeper, Gabriel Magalhaes and Declan Rice," Shearer said on The Rest is Football podcast.
Shearer has ranked them in that specific order, with the goalkeeper earning the top spot. "David Raya is the player of the season for me," he declared, describing all three as the go-to performers who delivered when Arsenal needed them most.
"Him, Gabriel and Declan have been outstanding."
